In The Curse of Darkness, it’s pretty much you against the world. You find yourself alone, hurt, and afraid of all the dangerous things that are happening nearby. On top of all this, you don’t have any memory of recent events either and have no idea how the kingdom got to its current state. You’ll have to beat the odds on this map as you try to figure out what happened to the world and how you’re supposed to make your way in it.
Onto its actual gameplay, The Curse of Darkness will keep you busy with multitudes of great features such as custom mobs, magnificent buildings, tons upon tons of command blocks, six different character classes to choose from, and extremely engaging fights in which even the smallest of mistakes can end up costing you your life. The map also has some of the most perfectly crafted boss fights out there because they’re incredibly challenging but never feel unfair or unbalanced. Although it’s not included with the map, it’s highly recommended that you use the Dark Dokucraft texture pack alongside this map because it’ll elevate the visuals to a whole new level thereby making for a much more immersive and thrilling experience.
