There are dozens, perhaps even more resource packs which claim to be the perfect Pokemon pack. Not many of them look as good as Diglett’s Mine though. This pack changes everything about Minecraft, from the user interface when dealing with the inventory and storage spaces, to the color of the grass (and texture too) to make it look like the grass from the Pokemon games, to the item icons, some of which have been totally remade to look like Pokemon heads rather than helmets, or icons from the DS games rather than their normal appearance in vanilla Minecraft. This pack is thorough, very thorough.
Probably the best thing about the Diglett’s Mine resource pack is the fact it’s still getting regular updates. It isn’t exactly old yet, but then many authors claim they will have updates coming for their new packs and then inexplicably disappear for months or even years at a time – that is not the case here. New and updated textures were just released for item frames, several different colors of wool and stone bricks, as well as both rough and polished andesite. That’s just block textures though; many of the mob textures have already been fixed up quite nicely.
For instance, you’ll find that plain old bats now look like zubats, just like rabbits look like buneary and pigs look like piloswine. Unlike other Pokemon resource packs which are actually great complements to PokeCraft and similar mods, the Diglett’s Mine pack is actually a bad choice thanks to the sheer number of mobs which have already been updated. You’d end up very confused if you tried to use PokeCraft with this pack, which is a little disappointing because Diglett’s Mine is just so good.
