Dolphin is an incredibly innovative game map for Minecraft that you simply must give a shot if you’re looking for something that’s completely out of the ordinary. However, before we dive into the map’s specifics, we want to highlight that you’ll need to run it on Minecraft 1.13.2 because the map utilizes the new swimming mechanics that were implemented in version 1.13 of Minecraft so, if you have any older version of the game, you won’t be able to play the map at all and will constantly be struggling with technical issues that’ll hold you back from enjoying the map.
The Dolphin map consists of tons upon tons of exciting features that’ll have you hooked from the first minute to the last. In this map, you’ll get to sprint through the water at incredibly fast speeds, dash through magma blocks, and swiftly navigate through soul sand. It goes without saying that the map isn’t as easy as it sounds because there are multitudes of obstacles that you’ll have to overcome somehow. It’s worth mentioning that the map is best played in multiplayer mode as a racing map because it’ll feel a lot more intense that way. You can certainly run through all the courses by yourself but, all things considered, the PvP aspect certainly adds more depth to the experience.
