Don’t Trust The Floor is a really intriguing and clever Minecraft map in which, as the name suggests, you can’t trust the floor if you want to make it through to the very end. The best part of this map is the fact that it requires players to have a good mix of both mechanical skills as well as the ability to think well under pressure if they want to get past it with the least amount of falls possible. The map has been designed by Brenden_MC and ever since its release it has received a fair bit of critical acclaim which shows how well designed it is.
Although Don’t Trust The Floor is quite fun to play, one minor flaw with it is that it’s a bit too short. Its length is about 300 blocks, and the gameplay ranges between ten to twenty minutes depending on how skilled you are at parkour. In terms of challenge, you’ll be able to complete the map even if you aren’t that adept at playing parkour maps, and this is a nice change of pace from all the absurdly challenging maps that require players to be highly skilled at parkour if they want even the slightest chance of completing them.
Don’t Trust The Floor Map is single player only so if you were hoping to play it alongside a friend or two then that, unfortunately, won’t be possible. It’s also key to remember that the map must be played with command blocks enabled otherwise it won’t function as it is supposed to. Finally, Don’t Trust The Floor has been built to work with Minecraft versions 1.9 and above so there’s a pretty high chance that it won’t function at all if you play it on anything lower than version 1.9.4 of the game.
