The Effection map is a full-fledged parkour map, and its biggest highlight is the fact that it utilizes almost all the different kinds of parkour styles that Minecraft has to offer such as Slime parkour, Fence parkour, and Ladder parkour, etc. However, the main thing that sets this pack apart from all the other similar parkour maps is the fact that youโll always be under the effects of various different kinds of potions while going through the parkour sequences, hence the name โeffectionโ. These potion effects will cause all sorts of issues for you that youโll have to overcome in order to get to the very end.
Effection Map has a total of five different stages and in every stage, youโll be under a unique potion effect and will go through a different kind of parkour sequence as well. The objective is to get to the very end as quickly as you can while avoiding as many falls as you can. The map is definitely quite challenging and might often seem impossible at times, but the creator Kris Madas has ensured players that all jumps have been tested and are completely possible as long as they have the necessary skills to do so.
The total duration of the Effection map varies quite a bit depending on the player’s skill. If you arenโt as experienced with parkour maps, then youโll probably take well over 30 minutes to complete it, but if youโve had prior experience with parkour maps and excel at them, then you should be able to go through the entire map within around 20 minutes. Although itโs pretty good overall, one feature that the Effection map lacks is a multiplayer mode and this might put a lot of people off but in the long run this isnโt that big of an issue.
