The Extraordinary Weapons mod is an absolutely incredible mod that, without a shred of doubt, manages to live up to its name. The vanilla weapons in Minecraft are definitely great, and those added by mods are also quite spectacular, but there’s still no doubting the fact that most weapons feel quite similar to use, so the experience doesn’t really change that dramatically no matter what weapon you have at your disposal. However, the Extraordinary Weapons mod is here to change that entirely. It implements a whole lot of explosive weapons into the game that you’ll have a delightful time using.

The weapons that you’ll find in the Extraordinary Weapons are mostly modern and futuristic so you probably shouldn’t medieval things like swords or axes. Inside this mod you’ll find things like a full-fledged rocket launcher that can blow up massive areas in a matter of seconds, a landmine that’ll annihilate anything that steps on it, a grenade launcher that’ll allow you to rain death from afar, a machine gun for when you want to mow down multitudes of foes at once and even a lava gun for when ordinary ammunition just doesn’t seem to cut it. The variety of weapons that this mod has to offer is quite incredible but what’s most impressive is that each individual weapon has its own distinct design and playstyle. The weapons come with top quality 3D models as well that are a treat to look at.

Alongside the weapons, the Extraordinary Weapons also makes wood production easier by adding the chainsaw into the game. Through the chainsaw, you’ll be able to break thousands of wood blocks at insane speeds, so you’ll essentially never run into a shortage of wood if you utilize this mod to its full potential. All said and done, if regular in-game weapons don’t cut it for you, then the Extraordinary Weapons mod might be exactly what you need.

How to install Extraordinary Weapons Mod?

1. Download Forge installer, open it and install
2. Open the Minecraft Launcher and select Forge in the profile list
3. Click Edit Profile and then Open Game Dir, this opens the game folder
4. Create a new folder called mods
5. Download the mod and put it into the mods folder
