If you’re looking for a far more mature take on the classic hide and seek style of game, then you will definitely want to check out the Goldrush map for Minecraft. As a bank robber, you have only a few minutes to hide the assets stolen during your latest heist throughout the town surrounding the bank you’ve just hit. Stashing the goods and then running away might seem like a bad idea, but if you can hide the stuff well enough that the police don’t find it in the allotted time then you win the game. It’s simple, fast, and fun, with lots of different hiding places for both you, the robber, and your ill-gotten gains.
By default, the Goldrush map is supposed to be played with 2 or more people, where one player acts as the crook and everyone else plays one of the police officers sent to track down the gold and catch the cretin. There is a time limit too, though it isn’t hard coded into the map. With 2 players, the game should last 4-5 minutes and have 2-3 pieces of gold hidden around the map. For every additional player, another 2-3 minutes of game time and 2 pieces of gold should be added to keep things fair.
