Incision is a delightful Minecraft puzzle map that’s definitely unlike all the other maps in this particular category because it hasn’t been designed to give players an infuriating experience. A significant portion of puzzle maps for Minecraft are designed with the sole intention of pushing a player’s skills to their absolute limits and this is why this category isn’t really all that friendly to newcomers. However, the Incision map gives players a nice entry level map through which they can experience what the puzzle genre has to offer. This is a map that’s perfect for players who want to get into puzzle maps but don’t want to go through the infuriating experiences that most run-of-the-mill maps have to offer.
The Incision map puts players through seven different puzzles and each one of these puzzles has been crafted with a high level of finesse and polish so you’re definitely going to enjoy every single one of them. The map’s puzzles are fairly easy but the difficulty does ramp up a bit as players progress further so you’ll need to bring your best if you hope to make it through the map without getting stuck on one particular puzzle.
The great thing about the Incision map is the fact that it gives players one hint per puzzle and these hints are extremely useful for players who aren’t yet adept at playing puzzle maps. These hints are fairly generic, though, so it can be difficult to make out what they’re trying to say at times but, all things considered, they’re a welcomed addition that newcomers to this map category are sure to like. All said and done, Incision is a delightful puzzle map that you simply cannot pass up if you’re new to the puzzle map genre and want to get the hang of things with something easy.
