Invisablocks is a very clever and creative parkour map for Minecraft that puts the observation skills of its players to the ultimate test. It features a very unique gimmick that makes the gameplay way more challenging and forces players to think before they leap instead of just brute forcing their way through the entire map. It’s worth mentioning that the map’s gameplay isn’t really as fast paced as the regular parkour map mainly due to the fact that players have to observe their surroundings properly but in spite of this it’s great fun to play and offers a refreshing experience.
The defining characteristic of the Invisablocks that sets it apart from all other maps in this category is the fact that the blocks that you’re supposed to parkour on have been made invisible so you won’t be able to see them directly. However, they still exist as physical entities which is why they’ll cast their shadows on the walls and the floors. You must analyze these shadows to determine where the blocks are and when you’ve figured out the location of said blocks you’ll then be able to parkour through them as you normally do.
The Invisablocks map is quite enjoyable, but one minor downside to it is that it’s not really that long. If you’re adept at parkour you’ll be able to make your way through it in a matter of minutes, and it doesn’t really have any major replay value either since you’ll have memorized the locations of all the blocks after going through it once. Of course, it’s worth mentioning that this is one of the more challenging parkour maps out there mainly because of the unique gameplay concept that it’s based on but rest assured you’ll be able to get the hang of its basics shortly after you get into it.
