Ironman in Vanilla Map 1.8.9

If you’re looking for an Ironman experience in Minecraft, few maps are better than this one. The Ironman in vanilla Minecraft map lets you take on the role of Tony Stark himself, allowing you to fly around in the iconic red and yellow combat suit in a large city loaded with crime to fight. It’s the perfect adventure map for killing a few hours, though to be fair it is the same thing on each playthrough, so once you’ve gone through the map once or twice the replay value is all gone. Still, when a few hours of entertainment are all you can ask from a custom map anyhow, this isn’t a bad thing.

There are a few important points to keep in mind when playing the Ironman in Vanilla Minecraft map. First, it was developed using Minecraft 1.8.9, so you must be using that or a more recent version of the game to get the best experience. Likewise, you’ll want to hit F5 and play from a third person so you can steer yourself and fly better. Because this map is so intensive (The city really is huge) it would also be a good idea to turn your render distance down, maybe to 8 chunks and maybe even a little less. If you do all of these things you will have the most fun possible on this map.
