As you can probably tell from its name, It’s That Simple is a resource pack that’s been built to give Minecraft’s visuals a simplistic twist. If you’ve been playing Minecraft for a while and enjoy the gameplay but aren’t particularly fond of the fact that the vanilla textures can be a tad bit difficult on the eyes then this resource pack is one that you’ll want to try out. The pack reworks the game’s textures by a significant amount and makes them significantly easier to look at so we highly recommend trying it out if you’re looking for visuals that are simple and straightforward.
First and foremost, the defining characteristic of It’s That Simple is the fact that it uses a toned down version of Minecraft’s default color palette. The darker colors synergize nicely with the pack’s art style and are the main reason its textures are so easy to look at. It’s worth mentioning that It’s That Simple can look a bit too simplistic at times because there isn’t that much detail in the textures and this might put a few people off but, overall, this isn’t that big of a deal because the pack is meant to be simplistic after all.
It’s That Simple has a resolution of x16 and this low resolution, coupled with the fact that the pack’s textures don’t carry all that much detail in them, means that you’ll be able to use it without any frame-rate issues, even on PCs that are outdated in terms of their hardware. Also, it’s important to keep in mind that It’s That Simple came out fairly recently so it’s missing a few textures but these are bound to be added eventually through updates.
