Smoothness and simplicity are the basic theme of the Jack’s Classic resource pack. It’s designed by developer JackIsAZombie and is perfect for players who are looking for a straightforward and good looking pack that can be enjoyed on a mid-range PC. It’s available at a resolution of x32 but before going into any further detail regarding it we’d like to point out that it’s not fully complete yet so you might encounter a few missing textures here and there but these instances are few and far in between so your overall experience will definitely be a positive one if you use this pack.

The Jack’s Classic resource pack features manually drawn textures and one of the best parts about this pack is how well maintained it is. It’s been out for less than a year and has already been updated around 30 times which is an absolutely massive amount. The developer is constantly working to modify the textures and make sure that they’re top notch. There haven’t been any majorly impactful bugs with it up until now but if you manage to stumble upon one then feel free to message the developer about it so that the issue can be fixed in a future pack.

Although the Jack’s Classic resource pack does a fairly good job of distinguishing itself from other resource packs, it’s been compared to Vattic’s resource pack on many different occasions because both of them are actually quite similar. Some argue that this pack is a copy of Vattic’s, but none of these claims are actually true. Both Vattic’s and Jack’s Classic resource packs might have a few similarities but this is mostly because they have the same idea behind them, the actual execution is actually quite different, and you’ll notice it once you’ve used the pack yourself.
