Anyone who gets that urge to build cities, castles, and other large structures in Minecraft can easily open up a fresh world and create to their heart’s content. But there’s something very satisfying about both building a city alongside other players as well as standing on the outside and looking in, watching other people create something unique together. The Let’s Build a City map is a good example of the latter, since it receives regular updates and a dedicated crew of people is regularly adding more content to the map. If you’ve ever wanted to see a city built step by step, this is the map for you.

In fact, there are so many updates to Let’s Build a City that the authors actually recommend following them through social media outlets for the most recent version of the map, along with any news or commentary that might come up. The map is marked as 100% complete in places like PMC, but that’s just not true – updates are released weekly, or two to three times a month at the minimum, or at least they have been and should continue to be until the map is finally, actually finished.
