Gameplay that’s loaded with features, top quality visuals, and an incredibly fascinating plot are the things that come together to make the Liberation map. It’s an adventure map in which you play as a brave professor who was sent to explore a simple historical site but, once you actually get here, you realize that there’s actually a lot more going in this site than meets the eye and a dangerous plan is being carried out. Being the fearless person you are, you take it upon yourself to stop this plan from ever coming to fruition, but this won’t be an easy task as many different forces will try to stop you.
In terms of design, Liberation is one of the most intricate and creative adventure maps out there. The map has been cleverly crafted with a variety of different command blocks, and it has tons of Redstone related elements as well. The Redstone certainly adds a nice touch and is a big part of the gameplay but, if you don’t have experience experiencing using Redstone in Minecraft, you might struggle a little bit. Fortunately, after playing for a while, you’ll probably get the hang of things just fine.
Going into a bit more depth regarding the features, the Liberation map has various custom villager shops, custom mobs, various Easter Eggs, a few parkour sequences, intense boss fights, and, alongside all this, a lot of engaging conversations with the game’s NPCs. The Liberation map has primarily been designed for single player and will probably cease to function if you even try to use it in multiplayer mode. The map lasts somewhere between 1-2 hours, but of course, it goes without saying that this time is sure to fluctuate quite a bit depending on how skilled you are at playing Minecraft.
