Light Robot is an extremely creative puzzle map that’s based on a gameplay concept that we’ve rarely, if ever, come across before in this particular category of maps. The puzzle map category is no stranger to innovation as we often see puzzle maps with creative and refreshing new designs and Light Robot is a map that’s here to continue this trend. The map can definitely be a bit hard to get into but it’s extremely satisfying and refreshing to play so we recommend giving it a shot if you’re on the hunt for an exceptional puzzle map to get hooked on.
Gameplay
In Light Robot, you won’t really be controlling your own character and running around the map solving puzzles as you traditionally would. Instead, the gameplay revolves around programming commands into robots. There are 20 different levels on the map and, in each level, your objective will be to program the robots to turn on all the lamps in the level. The levels early on are fairly easy but, as you progress through the map, the difficulty will ramp up quite a bit so you’ll need to bring your absolute best if you wish to make it through all the levels without getting stuck.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
Alongside being extremely fun to play, Light Robot is technically immaculate as well because there are no significant bugs, glitches, or any other issues that would cause you trouble during the gameplay experience. The map is available for version 1.13.2 of Minecraft and this is the only version of the game it’s compatible with.
Conclusion
All things considered, Light Robot is a map that delivers a very innovative gameplay concept and offers satisfying puzzles that you won’t be able to get enough of. This is certainly a map worth checking out for those who want something fresh and out of the ordinary.
