The Mini People Mod for Minecraft 1.9 is definitely one of the most peculiar mods available to date. It’s a mod that features something that you probably haven’t ever thought about while playing Minecraft but after using it you’ll have a pretty hard time letting it go because, as weird as it is, it’s still a fairly solid mod that adds a good bit of depth and functionality to the game that the players will definitely enjoy. It’s been designed by Tehi and has been out for roughly a year but as of recently it’s been updated to function properly with Minecraft 1.9, and this is a pretty big update for the mod as it brings it in line with modern day standards.

The Mini People mod basically allows you to play as a tiny person in Minecraft. When playing Minecraft the thought of playing with a smaller character model isn’t something that usually crosses a person’s mind, but it actually makes the gameplay a lot more intriguing. When playing as a smaller character, you’ll be able to move to hard to reach places on your own, navigate around the world more freely and do a bunch of other things that you couldn’t before with the regular character model.

Allowing you to play as a tiny person isn’t the only thing that the Mini People mod has to offer. It also implements a lot of mini items into the game such as mini elytra, mini banners, mini minecarts and even mini boats. All these things are very useful and quite crucial since you’re using a mini character you probably can’t use the default forms of these things anymore. Overall, the Mini People is a rather strange but still very enjoyable mod that allows players to experience Minecraft from a fresh perspective.
