Mob Assault is a really exciting map that takes traditional PvE gameplay to a whole new level. This is without a doubt one of the most innovative maps of its kind to surface and recent times and this is primarily thanks to the unique gameplay concept that it brings to the table. It’s worth mentioning that, due to how unique the map is, it might take a while to get used to. However, once you’ve gotten the hang of the map’s basics, you’ll be in for a great time as long as you have some friends to play with you.
The purpose of the Mob Assault is to beat your opponent but, in order to do so, you won’t actually be taking them on in combat. Instead, you’ll have to take out your opponents by sending waves upon waves of mobs toward them while fighting off the waves that they send toward you. The objective is to stay alive longer than the opponent but, as simple as this may sound, it won’t be an easy task because the person against you will send waves upon waves of hostile mobs to knock you down. The Mob Assault map also features four different classes for you to choose from. The class you choose will have a significant impact on your character’s abilities so make sure to choose one that fits your play-style.
The Mob Assault map must be played with the difficulty set to easy and the PvP set to off to ensure optimal performance. The map has over 500 different command blocks, so it goes without saying that command blocks need to be turned on for them to function as it’s supposed to. Overall, Mob Assault is an extraordinary map that provides a unique experience and, due to this, we highly recommend trying it out.
