New Dawn is a resource pack that’s more than capable of breathing new life into your Minecraft world. In spite of Minecraft’s unique and elegant design, the visuals have a tendency of feeling dull and repetitive once people have played the game for a while and, while a lot of resource packs definitely have the potential to revamp the visuals in order to make things feel fresh, even these new packs start to feel stagnant after some time. New Dawn, on the other hand, is a resource pack with an absolutely phenomenal design that won’t be getting old anytime soon because the visuals that it features are a sight to behold and have a creative style that we don’t often see.
The New Dawn resource pack features different variants for a lot of in-game blocks and these variants are definitely a lot better looking than their vanilla counterparts as they have a lot more detail in them and, what’s most impressive, is the fact that they don’t seem to carry any noticeable amount of noise in them either. There are also gorgeous new mob textures for players to admire as well as a completely redesigned sky that’s definitely leaps and bounds ahead of the vanilla Minecraft sky that really isn’t all that appealing.
Alongside all the other improvements, New Dawn also features a new transparent user-interface that gives the game a sleek and appealing look. The textures of New Dawn have a resolution of 32×32 which is why they look a lot clearer than the vanilla textures but, the minor downside to these slightly higher resolution textures, is the fact that they pack might have frame-rate issues when used on a low-end computer.
