Ore Pings is an insanely useful Minecraft mod that allows players to pinpoint the location of ores in the game world and this is obviously an incredibly convenient power to have. Of course, it goes without saying that the mod might even seem a tad bit overpowered to a few people because of how useful its features are so it probably isn’t a good idea to play it in multiplayer modes because it may put other players off. However, as long as you’re using the mod in single player, Ore Pings will make your life a whole lot easier by getting rid of the key issue that players face when trying to mine ores.
The Ore Pings basically allows you to craft an items known as ore pings and these items can then be used to highlight the location of ores. These pings will show you the required ores through the world so you’ll know exactly where they are. It’s important to keep in mind that each ore ping is one-time use only so once you’ve used it, you’ll have to craft it all over again if you want to use it again. The ores aren’t revealed for a long period of time either so you’ll need to make the most out of the time when the ore pings are functioning.
Onto its technical aspects, the Ore Pings mod feels very smooth to use as it doesn’t seem to have any major bugs in it that would hinder the experience for players. The mod’s available for multiple different Minecraft versions so it’s pretty likely that you won’t need to upgrade or downgrade your Minecraft client in order to use it. All said and done, if you have difficulty finding ores on your own, then the Ore Pings mod will make life a lot easier for you.
