Parkour: Next Generation is a great new parkour map that throws old parkour concepts out the window and tries to give players an experience that’s fresh, innovative, and engaging. The map puts together all the features that have become a part of most modern day parkour maps to make for an experience that’s refreshing and challenging. If you’re a fan of traditional parkour sequences, then you probably won’t find much to like in this map, but if you’re looking for looking new types of parkour sequences to try out then, you’ll definitely have a great time with Parkour: Next Generation.
The goal of Parkour: Next Generation is to complete the six distinct levels as quickly as you can. The best thing about this map is that each individual level features unique parkour types, so the gameplay never becomes dull. In terms of challenge, there’s definitely a chance that you’ll struggle while trying to get the hang of Parkour: Next Generation and this is primarily due to the fact that it features new kinds of parkour that you may not yet be familiar with. The map also has a special bonus level that you’ll be able to unlock if you manage to complete the first 6 levels successfully.
Although Parkour: Next Generation Map is quite fun, it isn’t without its flaws. The red clay in this map is supposed to instantly kill players upon contact but that isn’t the case, so this issue can actually be exploited. The teleportation seems to be a glitch at times as well but, fortunately, these teleportation glitches don’t occur often enough to be considered a major problem. It’s important to note that you will need to play this map on Minecraft 1.10.2 or above because it’ll break otherwise. Overall, if you’re willing to overlook its minor flaws, Parkour: Next Generation will definitely give you a refreshing and engaging experience.
