Prison Maze is an engrossing maze map that’s definitely going to be a hit with players who are fans of maze maps because it’s one of the best maps of its particular category in terms of both concept and execution. Maze maps tend to be overly simplistic at times because there really isn’t much to them other than simply running through a maze in order to find a way out but Prison Maze manages to add a bit more depth to the gameplay by adding a few new elements into the mix, and the end result is an engrossing experience that’s both refreshing and enjoyable.
The Prison Maze map, as the name suggests, takes place inside a maze that the players need to get out of somehow but the twist in this particular case is the fact that the maze isn’t empty and, in fact, is filled to the brim with evil creatures that players will have to slay if they hope to make it out alive. Fighting the mobs seems easy enough at first, but the difficulty seems to keep ramping up as the map goes on so you will need to be on your guard at all times in order to make sure that some mob doesn’t end up catching you by surprise and take you out.
As far as difficulty is concerned, Prison Maze is definitely among the more challenging maps of its kind because the maze itself is fairly complex and also because of the aforementioned mobs that players will have to fight in order to make their way out of the maze. All said and done, though, Prison Maze is an exceptionally well-crafted maze map that’s going to keep players hooked from the first moment to the last because of its extremely well thought out setting and top-notch execution.
