Perfection is something that human beings have endeavored to achieve ever since they’ve been around. The idea of perfection is an addicting one and this is why our kind has always sought after it. The Pyritohedron deals with the idea of perfection and the seemingly never ending quest of mankind to achieve it. This is one of the most riveting adventure maps that we’ve experienced in Minecraft because it has one of the most well-designed stories out there and, alongside this story, the map also features spectacular gameplay that’ll have pretty much anyone hooked as soon as they get into the map.
In Pyritohedron, you’re part of a passionate group of researchers who’ve always been on a quest for perfection as it’s the only thing in progress. Your group studies every single thing that seems perfect in the world in order to learn more about the idea. You, playing as one of the most ambitious people among these researchers, must study five platonic solids that are the closest thing to perfection seen by anything. The plot definitely has a lot of depth to it and it’ll probably be a while before you can fully understand everything that’s going on but it’s definitely worthwhile and we highly recommend playing the map until the end.
The gameplay of Pyritohedron is quite straightforward and there isn’t anything complex about it so you’ll be able to make your way through the map without any issues as long as you have a firm understanding of the basic gameplay mechanics of Minecraft. The Pyritohedron map lasts for around one hour which is, in all honesty, the perfect amount of time for an adventure map because it’s long enough to get players immersed but short enough to make sure that the entire map can be enjoyed in a single session by most people.
