Road Mod for Minecraft 1.8.9/1.8

The Road mod by papertazer is a very simple yet incredibly useful mod that allows players to put together some very realistic and feature filled roads in Minecraft that can then be used for a variety of different purposes. The mod is pretty easy to get the hang of overall so after using it for a few minutes you’ll have a pretty firm understanding of how it works. Also, it’s recommended that you use this mod alongside the Cars and Drives mod by Robbi_Blechdose because the features of both mods complement each other very nicely and lead to a much more complete experience.

Overall, the Road mod gives players multitudes of different ways to create roads that are exactly according to their preferences. There are multiple kinds of street designs to choose from, special accessories that can be placed to give off a more realistic effect such as street cones or street based fire extinguishers and there’s a massive variety of signs as well that you can place on the roads to highlight something such as a pit or a construction site.

The Road mod doesn’t necessarily fall into the list of most popular mods available, but this is probably due to the fact that the features that it implements can’t really be used in a wide variety of scenarios. Most of the time you’ll be using the road mod to create roads and streets for maps or mods that have a modern day setting, and that’s pretty much it. It’s fairly obvious why you can’t use the mod in medieval or futuristic settings since the road designs simply won’t synergize with the artwork and visuals of those settings. All said and done, the Road mod is a perfect choice if you want a simple and easy to use a mod that you can use to craft personalized roads.
