There are tons of survival maps out there, and almost all of them are insanely fun to play. However, from time to time, certain top quality maps surface that elevate things to a whole new level, and Shriveling World is among these maps. It’s an incredible map that features a fascinating setting, top of the line gameplay, spine-chilling visuals, and various other features that’ll have players hooked for as long as the map lasts. It’s worth mentioning that this is definitely among the most challenging maps of its kind out there, so we don’t necessarily recommend it for those who are just getting into this map category.
The Shriveling World map takes place in an extremely intriguing post-apocalyptic setting. The map takes place in the year 2085, and the world seems to have been completely destroyed by this point because of multitudes of solar flares, earthquakes, droughts, and various other kinds of disasters. The only way humans have survived in this post-apocalyptic world is by building up underground bunkers but, as of recently, the resources of your bunker have started to run out, and it’s completely up to you to go up to the dangerous world in order to gather resources, and this will be no easy task because the world is filled to the brim with danger.
Shriveling World has a variety of different cities to explore, a full-fledged questing system, tons of different custom mobs, a whole lot of exciting boss fights, and tons of items for players to use. The map also comes with various kinds of weapons and armor that are extremely powerful and, if you manage to get your hands on these, you’ll be able to take on your enemies with a lot more ease. Overall, Shriveling World is one of the most exciting survival maps to come out in recent types, and we highly recommend giving it a shot if you’re looking for something exciting that’ll give you a challenge.

The books have one too many tags and thus the trade will not happen. I like the map, the quest trades to be done is broken and some of the command blocks are not working. While trying to find the other vault, which I am not able to find that has the power core, I found all the borders.
All glitches with the trading of quests just comes from default functions in minecraft. NBT tags get changed by reading books, just open to lan with allow cheats and spawn in the unread books with the scrollbar then reload the map in survival.
Hey the Juan quest where you get the power core and trade it for 50 or so emeralds isn’t working for me and I noticed it wasn’t working for a youtuber either, anyone have any idea of what might be wrong with it? Any input would be great!
great idea but bad design, mobs are invisable, villagers wont take your quest item, this map was poorly designed.
I hated this so much, do not play if you have anxiety.
