The name SimpleCraft is enough to explain what this resource pack has been designed for. SimpleCraft is a pack that’s been built to make Minecraft look as simple as it possibly can. As it stands right now, a lot of Minecraft resource packs improve the game’s visuals by a tremendous amount but, the problem with a lot of these packs is the fact that they’re incredibly overbearing at times because there’s just way too much detail packed into them. Fortunately, the SimpleCraft resource pack gives a refreshing experience by simplifying the game’s textures in order to give the players cleaner textures to enjoy.
As soon as you get into the world of Minecraft after applying the SimpleCraft resource pack, you’ll see textures that don’t really have that much detail in them but look quite appealing in spite of this. The pack’s clean art style makes for an absolutely delightful experience and perhaps the main reason why the textures look so great is the fact that the pack uses a bright and vibrant color palette that helps the textures shine, even though the amount of detail in them isn’t anything worth writing home about.
The SimpleCraft resource pack has a resolution of x16 and this resolution is definitely fitting as the amount of detail in the textures isn’t really enough to warrant a high resolution. Of course, the best thing about the low resolution of this pack is the fact that it runs incredibly smoothly at high frame-rates, even on low-end PCs. The pack’s compatibility goes up to version 1.11.2 of Minecraft so, if you’re on 1.12, you’ll need to downgrade in order to use it.
