Skyblock maps are some of the most entertaining in Minecraft. Creating your very own world from an initial patch of land, a single tree, and some meager aid stashed into a single chest has a rewarding feeling to it which makes playing that way fun for many players. But what if you could take that concept and change it up some? Well, that’s what the Sky Element map does. Not only do you get to enjoy the experience of creating something sustainable from an initially inhospitable environment, but Sky Element is also a decent adventure map with an underlying story and ultimate goal.
That means you’re not just doing mindless stuff without a purpose. For some people, this is a major selling point, and if you’re one of those types, you’ll probably love this map. There is custom loot to find in treasure chests placed around the world, along with a number of different quests that yield still greater rewards for the player. To be fair though, the loot from quests can actually be taken before the quests are even completed. For the best experience, you should probably play through the map using the rules set in place by the author.
