Spiral Sprint by CoreysInTheHouse is without a doubt one of the most unique parkour maps in recent days. Most parkour maps nowadays are quite enjoyable but most of them utilize the tried and true formula which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it leads to lots of fun gameplay moments, but the downside to using the same formula over and over again is that new maps don’t really feel that innovative or exciting anymore. However, the Spiral Sprint implements a very fun new mechanic into the mix that not only provides players with a refreshing experience but also gives them a challenge that’s sure to put their parkour skills to the test.
The main difference that you’ll notice between Spiral Sprint and other parkour maps is that the blocks of Spiral Sprint will actually turn and rotate in various different directions whenever you land on them. These turning blocks make the gameplay very challenging because they make jumping onto the next platform harder, and they can even throw you off balance which will cause you to fall. The blocks will also move at different speeds depending on what color they are so this is also something that you constantly keep in mind. Fortunately, after you play the map a little bit, you should be able to get the hang of how these blocks work and will then overcome the challenge that they present.
Spiral Sprint will function only with Minecraft version 1.9 and above and this is because its defining feature requires Minecraft 1.9 in order to function. It’s also worth noting that this pack has been designed to be played only in single player mode so you won’t find a functioning multiplayer mode in it. Overall, it’s a pretty distinct and refreshing map that’ll give you a memorable and refreshing experience.
