Anyone who has played the Call of Duty games probably knows about Nuketown by now. It’s a map from the series that features a small subdivision style of place with several residential buildings and tons of mannequins standing around, emulating people. The Survival Games Nuketown map brings that popular piece of CoD into the world of Minecraft. The map is perfect with a number of Call of Duty mods, but even without adding extra content it still works pretty well. There are 6 different spawn points set up around the map and each is designated by a beacon item.
While this does make spawn camping kind of easy, the game tries to put respawning players as far away from live players as possible. It shouldn’t be an issue. Also, Survival Games Nuketown is totally surrounded by a barrier of glass to keep players contained in the game area. Anywhere inside the glass is fair game as far as the rules go, so there are plenty of places to hide, secret paths to find and ambush points to discover. Chests dotting the map come with gear inside and it is ideal for fast-paced melee combat, but just as good for gunplay with the correct mods installed.
