Switch Parkour is a unique and creative map because it doesn’t follow the standard parkour map formula of shoving challenging content down a player’s throat but, instead, focuses on tuning the core play-style in a way that not only provides a refreshing experience but also tests just how good a player at is adapting and following patterns. This is definitely one of the most distinct parkour maps that we’ve seen in quite some time, and this is why it comes highly recommended by us. You’ll be missing out if you’re a fan of parkour maps but don’t end up giving this one a shot.
The Switch Parkour map basically relies on rhythms in order to give its levels a creative twist. The tiles and blocks in the levels of this map basically keep alternating between appearing and disappearing depending on a certain rhythm. As the player, it’s up to you to figure this rhythm out and adapt your play style accordingly so you can follow the correct blocks and tiles to the end. The rhythm based level design is certainly one of the most intriguing things we’ve seen in parkour maps, and this is why you can be sure that the map’s gameplay is going to feel fresh from the first minute to the last.
Another fascinating thing about the Switch Parkour map is the fact that it even comes with an open world hub which players can explore in-between the usual parkour levels. In this hub, you can walk around and explore or, if you want to play the parkour levels, you can simply walk up to where they are in order to start them. All said and done, Switch Parkour is an extremely high-quality parkour map that we absolutely recommend trying out because it’s a step above most things that this map category has to offer.
