Teramia [Mod Edition] is an exceptional open-world style adventure map that’s definitely going to have you completely immersed from the moment you start playing to the moment you’ve seen everything it has to offer. This is an absolutely loaded map that is filled to the brim with features and offers a full-fledged RPG experience that you won’t be able to get enough of. Also, as the name implies, the mod utilizes a variety of Minecraft mods for its design and the end result is a unique and refreshing gameplay experience that players will be hooked on for hours upon hours.
Gameplay
The Teramia [Mod Edition] takes place in a massive open world that consists of six different regions, or islands in this particular case. Every single bit of this map’s terrain is custom and each individual region has its own distinct design so you’ll have an awesome time exploring through them. There are several different races that choose to make your character and the overall experience is quite immersive since the map is filled with different quests that are sure to have you completely engaged whenever you play it.
Combat in Teramia [Mod Edition] is also absolutely spectacular because the mob features multitudes of custom-made enemies that you’ll get to fight against. There are also in-game shops consisting of many different kinds of weapons for you to acquire and utilize as you progress further into the game. The map also consists of a great deal of side quests for you to embark on so, even once you’re through with the expertly crafted main quests, you’ll still have a lot left to enjoy.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
On top of being one of the most innovative and immersive maps we’ve seen in quite some time, Teramia [Mod Edition] is a marvel on the technical side of things as well because so far it hasn’t shown any major bugs or issues that would hinder the gameplay experience in any way. It’s worth mentioning, though, that Teramia [Mod Edition] is available only for version 1.7.10 of Minecraft so you might have to downgrade to play it if you’ve moved onto a more recent version of the game.
Download and unzip the Teramia Beta II V.1.4 Complete Edition.zip.
Open the unzipped folder.
Open the Minecraft directory/folder on your computer.
Move the ‘Teramia Beta II V.1.4 Complete Edition‘ folder to the ‘saves‘ folder inside the Minecraft directory.
Move the ‘mods‘ folder from the downloaded files to the Minecraft folder. Make sure there are no other mods installed.
Move the ‘customnpcs‘ folder to the Minecraft folder.
Move the ‘config‘ folder to the Minecraft folder.
Move the ‘Rhapsodia-0.6.1 Teramia Edit‘ folder to the ‘resourcepacks‘ folder inside the Minecraft directory.
Move the ‘Teramia Soundpack‘ folder to the ‘resourcepacks‘ folder. Place it on top of the list.
Move the ‘Teramia Supportpack‘ folder to the ‘resourcepacks‘ folder. Place it on top of the list.
Note
If you encounter issues with climbing ladders in version 1.4, follow these steps:
Look for the smart moving config options (located in your Minecraft folder, not in the config folder).
Set “move.climb.base” for climbing ladders to “standard”. By doing this, climbing ladders should work properly again. We will address this issue in version 1.5, which will be released during the course of this week. Additionally, in version 1.5, we will also be adding netherite ore and items to the game world.
If you want to fully immerse yourself in the intended experience, it is highly advised to follow these recommendations:
Use the map’s new default pack called “Conquest” to enhance the visual quality.
Additionally, if you are not using shaders, it is suggested to use the “cy4n’s light pack” on top. This will further enhance the lighting effects in the game.
By incorporating these resource packs, you can fully enjoy the intended atmosphere and aesthetics of the map.
Your ressourcepack folder should be organized like this. Cy4n Lighting is of course optional.

Resolved the up-to-date mod issue and various other bugs for a smoother gameplay experience.
Added two new mods to the default pack:
Smart Moving: Completely overhauls the dated movement system of Minecraft version 1.7.10, including swimming, walking, and flight. It introduces new features such as crawling, climbing, and dodging to enhance movement mechanics.
Darwin Water Ambience: Adds small aesthetic effects to water, such as water splashes or ripples left behind by mobs swimming in the water, enhancing the immersion of aquatic environments.
Replaced the existing Custom NPC mod with its fork, Custom NPC+: This provides an updated version with additional features and improvements for enhanced NPC interactions and customization.
