The Miner Map is a phenomenal horror map for Minecraft that goes above and beyond to give players an immersive and engaging experience. Before going into detail about it we want to point out that has a whole lot of flashing lights and a ton of rather disturbing images as well so if youโre someone who has issues with these elements then itโs probably best to stay away from this map. However, if youโre fine with all the light flashes and the images then prepare yourself for a sensational experience thatโs unlike any other youโve had before when it comes to horror maps.
The Miner Map is set in 1979 and in it, you play the role of Douglas McComerick, whoโs been a night guard at a mining facility for roughly three years now and hasnโt run into any issues with it yet. However, things get rather weird when a new miner begins to stay way after his work hours and messing around with this that he isnโt supposed to. Youโve been given the task of finding this guy and escorting him out of the facility which seems like an easy enough task, but once you get to him, you realize that everything is not truly as it seems.
The gameplay of The Miner map lasts for around 30-35 minutes which is relatively short so you can play it even if you donโt have a lot of time on your hands. It has a lot of great features like Redstone mechanics, incredibly spooky horror scenes, and even a resource pack that makes everything tenfold scarier. One thing weโd have liked to see in this map is a multiplayer mode, but unfortunately, that feature is absent. Regardless, The Miner is a solid horror map that has been executed nearly flawlessly.
