The Pack Parkour is an intense parkour map that doesn’t do anything revolutionary or out of the ordinary but is still more than worth trying out because it features top tier level design and a variety of special features to make sure that the experience remains interesting for the players from start to finish. The map has been designed by the same person who’s behind the Great Parkour Race, Preston Parkour and of course the entire Simply Parkour series, and, when in-game, you’ll see that the map shares quite a few similarities with other maps from the same creator.
The Pack Parkour features a total of 18 different levels for players to make their way through and each individual level is an absolute delight to play. The difficulty of the map is quite linear and ramps up at a gradual pace so, while the first few levels might seem relatively easy to get through, you’ll need to keep in mind that this won’t always be the case. Checkpoints exist in this map but one peculiar thing about them is that they don’t seem to exist in some of the later levels and this makes them extremely challenging to get through.
One crucial thing about The Pack Parkour that we want to point out is that the map does have an important pre-requisite that you’ll need in order to run it. The map requires Minecraft 1.12 – Snapshot 17w06a to function properly and you can run this particular version through the Minecraft launcher. The map isn’t compatible at all with older versions of the game so you shouldn’t even try to run it on those unless you want to run into a whole bunch of compatibility issues. Overall, The Pack Parkour is a spectacular parkour map that’s definitely worth anyone’s while.
