The Rodney Project is a survival map that’s no doubt one of the most captivating and immersive we’ve seen in quite some time. The core objective behind this map might seem pretty easy and straightforward to people at first but, as you play the map a little bit, you’ll come to realize that the task at hand isn’t as easy as it seems and you’ll slowly be driven insane as you try to complete. This map is definitely a cut above all the other survival maps that have surfaced recently and we urge players to try it out.
The goal of The Rodney Project map is quite simple. All you have to do is survive for 9 days in a small room that has nothing in it other than a bed and of course food. To many, this might seem like the easiest task of their lives on paper but, once you actually start to play the map, you’ll realize that there’s so much more to it than you initially thought. The first few days will be pretty calm but, after a while, you’ll start to become insane because there will be absolutely nothing to do and, at this point, it’ll be up to you to remain calm so that you may make it through to the end.
The in-game time of The Rodney Project is nine days long but, in real time, this is closer to about three hours which is still longer than most traditional puzzle maps so you’ll be kept entertained for quite some time thanks to this map. Finally, we want to point out that this map can be played by both Minecraft newcomers and veterans since there aren’t any complex gameplay mechanics involved in it. Overall, The Rodney Project is a standout survival map that you simply must try out.
