The map’s worth playing because it features all the characteristics that you’d expect to find in a top notch adventure map such as solid gameplay, an engrossing story, and, of course, visuals that are a sight to behold. The map also has a variety of unique characteristics that you can’t really find in traditional adventure maps so, all things considered, you’re missing out if you don’t give it a shot.
In The Seven Gems, you play as a person in a part of a group that’s come to an island in search of fame and glory. However, it seems that the people on this island aren’t easily impressed, so the only way to gain their respect and attention is by locating the seven mysterious gems that no one has ever been able to find. It’s definitely a daunting task because many have failed on this quest, but your crew is definitely determined so you might end up having better luck than all the people before you.
The greatest thing about The Seven Gems is the fact that it’s a co-op map so you’ll actually be able to play it alongside a group of friends and this makes the overall experience quite delightful. The co-op gameplay definitely takes a while to get the hang of since most adventure maps are single player but, once you figure out how to coordinate with your companions, you’ll be able to pull of tons upon tons of amazing things that are pretty much impossible in single player. Overall, The Seven Gems is an innovative and captivating adventure map that doesn’t cease to impress.
