The Void is a very exciting sci-fi themed map that comes with an epic post-apocalyptic theme that’s sure to captivate players and keep them hooked until the very end. The map takes place after a very horrid disaster that occurred in space during the year 2078. After this disaster, it seems like you’re the only surviving astronaut who is drifting through space. The map isn’t necessarily the longest out there, but it’s definitely one of the most engaging ones. Basically, once you get into it you probably won’t want to let go until you’ve finished it completely.
The Void map is full of fun things to do. It’s basically an adventure map so you’ll be doing all the things that you usually do in maps of this category such as exploration, fighting, and various other things. Of course, due to the whole sci-fi theme, the entirety of the map takes place in space so you’ll be exploring space stations and battling space pirates as you try to get through until the end. The story of the map is also very engaging and is definitely worth all the time spent trying to complete it.
It’s important to remember that The Void should be played with the default texture pack of Minecraft if you want the most immersive possible and enjoy the map the way it was meant to be enjoyed. It’s also worth mentioning that the pack is single player only so you won’t be able to explore the depths of space alongside a friend if that’s what you were looking forward to. Last but certainly not least, perhaps the biggest highlight of The Void is that it makes great use of the features that Minecraft 1.9 has to offer in order to provide players with an engaging and refreshing experience.
