TyDoku is a spectacular resource pack that’s similar to DokuCraft in a variety of different ways but, in spite of this, it still has enough unique features of its own to set it apart. This pack’s definitely a good choice for players who like the art style of DokuCraft but aren’t particularly fond of some of its features. The pack features some incredibly high-quality textures, an intriguing art style and a variety of other great visuals that players will enjoy quite a lot. The pack was originally designed by Tyken132 a few years back but, as of right now, it’s being kept up to date by kenny1997. The pack hasn’t seen any major update for a while but now but kenny1997 has stated that a version for Minecraft 1.10 is on its way.
Onto the pack’s specifics, the textures of TyDoku are quite nice to look at. The textures are highly detailed, but it’s worth mentioning that they do have a bit of noise in them but, thankfully, the noise problems are relatively minor and don’t occur in most textures, so they probably won’t hinder your experience much. The pack has a rather dark color palette, and the dark colors are actually better than the usual bright ones because they synergize better with the old school medieval art style of the pack.
TyDoku has a resolution of 32×32 which is of course slightly higher than the traditional 16×16 of vanilla Minecraft so you might need a slightly above average PC to run the pack without frame-rate issues. The pack might not be available for the latest versions of Minecraft as of right now, but it’s fully completed, so you won’t need to worry about missing textures.
