Water Parkour is a parkour map that isn’t as groundbreaking or innovative as some of the other maps we’ve seen recently from this particular category but, overall, it’s a great map that can definitely provide players with an engaging experience if they give it a shot. It’s important to highlight, before we go into any further details, that the map has been designed solely for the sake of PvP purposes so, if you want to make the most out of it, you’ll need to have a friend who’s willing to tag along for the experience with you.
The Water Parkour map basically consists of a parkour race above water in which players will have to jump from block to block while ensuring that they don’t fall into the water below. The core design of the map doesn’t really feature anything out of the ordinary and the parkour mechanics featured in the map are fairly straightforward as well so this is definitely a map that’s been targeted toward players who want a classical experience that doesn’t come with any unnecessary bells and whistles. It’s worth highlighting that, while the map may be quite simple in terms of its core design, the map is actually fairly difficult because of the challenging jumps that it features so you’ll certainly need a solid understanding of the basics of Minecraft parkour if you want to progress through it without running into trouble.
The great thing about maps with simplistic designs is the fact that they’re usually quite solid on a technical level and, as it turns out, this is the case with Water Parkour. The map doesn’t display any massive issues that would hinder the experience for players so you can feel free to enjoy it without having to worry about any potential technical troubles surfacing.
