AetherCraft Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10/1.7.2

According to some, aether is the one substance which makes up all things in the world. If you can see it, touch it, smell it, taste it or hear it, then it contains aether. It is the one thing which binds all matter together, or at least that’s how the theory goes. With the AetherCraft mod, you can start converting unwanted items in Minecraft to a supply of aether which you can then use to create a number of new items, tools, equipment and other goods. With the tools added by this mod, breaking down and reshaping your items is a thing of ease.

Basically, everything in this mod revolves around aether points, or AP. Items have an inherent AP value, and the AP value of any two combined items is almost always the sum of those two inherent AP values. If this isn’t the case, it is the doing of the mod author specifically; something about balancing the mod. The AetherCraft mod therefore allows players to craft just about anything, really. If they know the AP value of the finished item, they know which items they can combine together to get it. This system does take some time to learn, but once you pick it up you’ll be breezing through this mod’s recipes.

Everything starts with the Aether Crafter block. The name is a little disingenuous, since the block doesn’t really craft anything. What it does is break down any items you feed to it, destroying them and holding onto their AP for later use. The Aether Condenser is used to turn that free-floating AP into a physical form, so you’ll need both of these special blocks if you want to craft any of the other recipes from the mod. The AetherCraft mod lets players turn items into almost anything else.
