Bumpy is a resource pack that definitely seems rather bizarre and peculiar at first sight because, as it turns out, the pack has been designed for the sole purpose of making the textures of Minecraft look a lot bumpier than they usually are. While the concept behind the mod might seem a tad bit odd at first, it actually turns out that the Bumpy resource pack manages to provide some pretty refreshing visuals. Most Minecraft resource packs nowadays tend to go for a smooth and sleek look in order to make the visuals easy on the eyes but Bumpy throws this concept out the window entirely in favor of bumpy visuals that, surprisingly enough, provide a pretty refreshing and immersive gameplay experience that players won’t be disappointed with.

One great thing about Bumpy is the fact that it impacts pretty much every single visual element of Minecraft. A lot of resource packs nowadays only focus on changing some aspects of the game and this makes the experience a lot less immersive than it potentially could be but, thankfully, this isn’t the case with Bumpy. The textures themselves are extremely refreshing and unique to look at and, alongside this, the Bumpy resource pack also gives the user-interface a bit of changes that help make it look more appealing.

The Bumpy resource pack has a resolution of 32×32 and it’s actually isn’t that demanding of a resource pack to begin with because it doesn’t use full-fledged bump maps in order to pull off the bumpy effect. Due to this, you should be able to use this resource pack without much trouble, even on systems with low-end hardware.
