Dungeon Pack Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10

19819

Players who spend a lot of time underground in Minecraft have probably come across their share of dungeons in the past. A dungeon isn’t much more than a small cobblestone room with a spawner and one or two chests. However, with the Dungeon Pack mod, dungeons become much different than normal. Besides the standard underground dungeon, there are 23 other different types of dungeons added to the game by this mod. Some end up in the tops of trees, or under a pile of rocks, or on abandoned ships near the edge of the ocean. Players who want to add variety to their Minecraft experience can’t miss with this.

Like temples and standard dungeons in Minecraft, these new and varied dungeons can also make some pretty great places to set up a home once the included spawner has been destroyed and the threat of hostile mobs removed. Because there are different types of dungeons included for every biome, it is possible to find one of these spots in every corner of Minecraft, from the tops of mountains to the lowest parts of the world at the bottom of ravines. There are even floating island dungeons which hover well above the world and require some work to enter.

Dungeon Pack mod would actually go very well with a handful of other mods, including but not limited to Flan’s Mod, which introduces biplanes and aerial travel to the game. Getting these mods to work together could take some time and a bit of coding, but thanks to Minecraft Forge, this is usually accomplished with a few clicks and little more. Players are highly encouraged to get Minecraft Forge before installing Dungeon Pack, as the new dungeons may not spawn correctly or refuse to spawn at all if the mod isn’t installed properly.
