Flour Power is a fairly basic but useful Minecraft mod that probably won’t revolutionize your gameplay experience but, nonetheless, it’s a mod that you’ll probably want to keep installed at all times due to the utility that it brings to the game. As the name implies, the mod’s been designed around the use of flour and, while it doesn’t bring a ton of functionality to the game, the features that it has to offer are quite useful and, after a while, they start to feel like natural parts of Minecraft’s gameplay so, all things considered, this is a mod that we can definitely recommend.
The goal of the Flour Power mod is to make sure that players can find a use for flour when they play Minecraft. Through the functionality in this mod, players will be able to craft flour by utilizing wheat and, once they’ve gotten their hands on flour, they’ll actually be able to smelt it in order to make bread. Bread is a pretty useful resource because it can be eaten directly and, on top of this, it can be utilized in various different recipes as well. The Flour Power mod also adds various recipes that allow players to use flour instead of wheat in order to make cakes and cookies and these recipes can be enabled and disabled according to the player’s preferences.
The great thing about the Flour Power is the fact that, due to its simplicity, it can be used on most PCs without performance troubles. A lot of feature filled mod come at the price of performance drops which is why they can only be used on PCs with good hardware but, in this case, the Flour Power mod can be used on most PCs without performance issues because it’s pretty simple and doesn’t add any over the top features into the game.
