Hexxit Gear is a mod that’s been crafted specifically for the Hexxit mod pack that’s been around for a while so it goes without saying that you should only use this mod if you’re already using the mod pack that it was designed for. If you utilize the Hexxit Gear mod without the Hexxit mod pack installed beforehand, then you probably won’t be able to do much with it as its functionality relies on the features implemented by the aforementioned pack. However, as long as you do have the Hexxit mod pack installed, this mod’s going to take it to a whole new level.
The Hexxit Gear mod adds four individual armor sets into Minecraft, and each of these armor sets focuses on certain kinds of strengths. There’s a Tribal set that prioritizes strength and has a jumping boost effect, there’s a Thief set that offers strength and a special sneaking effect, there’s a Scale set that offers strength and resistance and, finally, there’s a Sage set that offers players fire resistance and also gives them the ability to breathe underwater. Each individual armor set suits a different kind of play-style so it’d definitely be a good decision to try each of them out to see which one suits your preferences and play-style the most.
Crafting the armor sets of the Hexxit Gear mod is a bit of a challenge because you’ll need to forge them through Hexical Diamonds and these diamonds are a tad bit difficult to acquire since they require players to travel around the game world in search of Hexical Essence that’s dropped by Hexbiscuses. However, once you do get your hands on these things, it’ll be worth it because of the bonuses and stats that they have to offer to whoever has them equipped.
