Living Enchantment is a mod that, unlike a lot of other top tier Minecraft mods, probably won’t be able to elevate your gameplay experience to the next level but it will certainly make things a lot more enjoyable due to the creative and exciting new features that it brings to the table. This is a mod that’s been designed to add a bit more depth to the way weapons work in Minecraft so it’s worth giving a shot to if you’re looking for a way to give your weapons some additional functionality.
Features and Functionality
The Living Enchantment mod, as the name suggests, adds a special kind of enchantment to the game and this enchantment can then be used to, in a manner of speaking, bring the weapons of Minecraft to life. Whenever you enchant an item, it’ll gain a personality of its very own and there are actually various different kinds of personalities. Alongside this, the enchanted weapon will also start to take a small cut of all the experience you get and, when the weapon levels up, it’ll actually gain additional stats that are sure to help you out during combat situations. The stat boosts from leveling up might not seem all that meaningful at first but they can definitely add up after some time.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
Up until now, we haven’t heard any major complaints regarding the functionality of the Living Enchantment mod so it should run fairly smoothly as long as it’s used with version 1.12 of Minecraft as this is the only version of the game that the mod has been made compatible with.
All said and done, Living Enchantment is a mod that deserves quite a bit of praise for its creativity and, due to this, it comes highly recommended from us.
