ObsTrophies Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10

Killing mobs in Minecraft is certainly a fun thing to do as the game’s combat system is quite in-depth but the satisfaction of taking down a mob doesn’t really last for long. Fortunately, for players who want to make their triumphs over Minecraft mobs more memorable, ObsTrophies is definitely the perfect mod. The mod implements a full-fledged trophy system into the game that’ll allow players to collect trophies as they make their way through the game and slay any mobs that stand in their path. It’s definitely a great mod and adds a lot of depth to the overall Minecraft experience.

Simply put, the ObsTrophies mod adds trophies into Minecraft that you can collect by killing mobs. The trophies themselves don’t really add any functionality to the gameplay, but they’re still a worthwhile addition to the game because of the sense of achievement that they add to the game. Of course, it’s worth mentioning that you’re not guaranteed to get a trophy if you kill a mob. The chance of getting trophies actually depends on a variety of different things. If a player kills a mob with any weapon other than a sword, then the chance of a trophy dropping is 2%. However, if a player uses a sword to kill the mob then the chance is 5%, and this chance keeps increasing depending on the level of looting that the sword has.

The ObsTrophies mod also features special swords that give players a bonus chance of getting trophies. If you can manage to hit looting level three with one of these swords, then you’re basically guaranteed to get a trophy from whatever mob you slay with said sword. The trophies themselves are quite nice to look at, and you can set them up as decorations in your own Minecraft home. All said and done, ObsTrophies is a great mod that adds a great sense of achievement and progress into Minecraft.
