Ore Seeds Mod for Minecraft 1.8

The Ore Seeds mod is perfect for players who would much rather just stay home and grow their ores manually instead of going out in the game world and acquiring them through monster slaying or through exploration. As the name suggests, the mod implements four different kinds of seeds that you can then plant in order to grow a plant that will then yield the respective ore. It’s a pretty exciting mod as it allows players to save a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted since they’d be running around the game world in search of the ores they need rather than simply growing them at home.

As of right now, the Ore Seeds mod implements a total of four different seeds; Emerald, Iron, Gold and Diamond. Planting these seeds will allow you to grow a plant that, as mentioned before, will give you an ore based on the seed that was planted. Keep in mind that each plant has different growth conditions that you will need to meet if you want your crops to flourish at all. If you don’t have the correct conditions then planting the seeds will pretty much be pointless since the plant will simply refuse to grow.

The Ore Seeds mod comes with a config file that allows players to edit a whole bunch of different details like the drop rate of the ores and various other things. The mod also features a special strawberry seed that you can plant to acquire strawberries. According to developer Z_Doctor, the mod is completely bug/glitch free so you should expect a pretty smooth experience when using it. Overall, the Ore Seeds is a pretty convenient and fun mod that allows players to acquire all the ores they need right in the comfort of their own home.
