Silver Default Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.11.2

Silver Default is a resource pack that simply aims to Minecraft look better without changing any of the things that actually define it. Resource packs exist to make Minecraft look like a better game but no one can doubt the fact that, even without packs, the game is still quite nice to look at. However, there are certain flaws in the game’s vanilla resource pack that hold it back a little bit. First is the fact that the resolution is quite low and this is why the textures cannot carry that much detail in them and, alongside this, another flaw is that the textures have a fair bit of noise in them. Fortunately, the Silver Default resource pack enhances the game’s look by tremendous amount so it’s definitely worth trying out if you’re content with Minecraft’s core art style and simply want to elevate it a bit.

The first thing you’ll notice about Silver Default is the fact that its textures simply carry more detail than the vanilla textures do. These higher quality textures, paired with the vibrant color palette, make the game world look extremely appealing. It’s worth mentioning that some of the textures look a bit too bright at times but this is a fairly minor issue that likely won’t hinder your experience all that much.

Silver Default also comes with a variety of special features that truly make the in-game experience an immersive one. These features include special animations for a variety of different in-game entities, alternate textures, a few custom models and even full-fledged mod support for most of the popular Minecraft mods that are currently available.

Supported Mods:
