Watercan is a straightforward but extremely useful mod that probably isn’t going to enhance your Minecraft gameplay experience by a tremendous amount but is still worth looking into because it offers a very high level of convenience and can save a lot of time if you frequently find yourself having to water crops and such in the world of Minecraft. Unlike a lot of other groundbreaking mods that elevate the Minecraft experience to a whole new level, Watercan doesn’t really implement any over the top features but it’s still going to be worthwhile if you’re looking for an easy way to water crops.
Features and Functionality
The Watercan mod basically implements five different water cans, each of a different tier and crafted with a different material. The wooden water can is the lowest tier but you can craft higher tier ones as well such as gold and diamond water cans. The core functionality of each water can is the same but the higher tier cans have special characteristics as well such as the infinite capacity for the diamond water can and the ability of the gold water can to spawn flowers on grass at an extremely high rate. It’s worth remembering, though, that the crafting recipes for the higher tier water cans can take quite a few resources to pull off but they’re usually worth it given the additional functionality they have to offer.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
Since the Watercan only adds new items to the game and doesn’t have any over the top new mechanics to offer, it probably won’t cause any technical flaws that would hinder your experience. As for availability, Watercan is only out for version 1.12 of Minecraft.
All said and done, Watercan is a convenient and highly useful mod that can allow you to save quite a bit of time when you’re watering crops.
