Xray Ultimate Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.17 / 1.16.5

The Xray Ultimate resource pack has been designed for players who frequently embark on mining adventures in Minecraft and require a bit of extra assistance while doing so. Most of Minecraft’s resource packs are designed to enhance the visuals in one way or another but Xray Ultimate is quite unique because it’s made to assist with the gameplay instead of elevating the game’s visuals. Due to its nature, you shouldn’t really expect any over the top visuals from this resource pack but, what you should expect, is a whole lot of crucial assistance when you’re mining.

As we mentioned above, the goal of the Xray Ultimate is to assist with mining and it does so by highlighting all the ores and mineral blocks in the game world when players are mining. Thanks to the pack highlighting ores and mineral blocks, you’ll be able to tell exactly where they are and that’ll save you a ton of time when you’re out mining. It’s worth mentioning that, at first, you’ll need to get used to its x-ray features a little bit because they tend to clutter up the screen quite a bit but, once you figure out how they work, they’ll assist you quite a bit.

The Xray Ultimate resource pack has a resolution of x16 so it likely won’t cause any performance drops. The pack runs just fine without Optifine but we definitely recommend using it with Optifine because it enables a special night vision effect and also gives players the ability to turn off smooth lighting whenever they want to.

  2. Tip: Use a night vision potion, and it works perfect. Without the potion, you see the veins but everything is black.

  3. hey idk why but my Minecraft when I go into it then go to resource packs I don’t have an open option on my list of files so I try to drag it into the Minecraft section where it says to but it wont work

    • So, download the texture pack, hit the windows button and at the same time press on “R” and in the bottom left corner a thing should pop up, type in %appdata% click okay then go into the .minecraft folder and then into the resource pack folder and then drag the resource pack file (In this case they X-Ray,) into the folder. From here go into the game and it should be there.

  4. With 1.13 breaking the other popular x-ray texture pack, this one continues to work fully. (The issue was nether quartz ore not being shown.) Glad to have been able to download and get this one working without any issues.
