Parkour maps built with the design of snakes seem to be gaining a lot of traction recently and rightly so because these maps are quite fun to play and have some of the most unique level designs out there. The 10 Snakes map is the latest parkour map of this type and does an excellent job of providing players with a thrilling and engaging experience that this whole map category is known for. However, itโs worth bearing in mind that it does make a few changes to the default parkour types in order to give players an experience thatโs quite refreshing.
As you could probably figure from the mapโs name, 10 Snakes has ten different levels for you to get through and each level takes place within a different snake. The distinct trait of this mapโs gameplay is that youโll need to manually figure out the location of each jump instead of following a linear track. All the snakes have a unique design and some of them have been given themes based off of iconic and popular characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Nyan Cat. In terms of challenge, this is definitely one of the tougher Minecraft maps out there since almost every single player whoโs reached its end has died around 70 or 80 times along the journey.
10 Snakes doesnโt have any particular rules or settings that players need to follow, but itโs still important to have command blocks enabled because the map wonโt function otherwise since it relies quite heavily on these blocks. The mapโs been made for Minecraft 1.10 so youโll need to make sure that your Minecraft client is on the same version before running it in order to avoid technical difficulties. Overall, this is a solid map with excellent gameplay and of course an interesting snake based setting.
