Against Iskerside 1 is a captivating adventure map that’s been designed to give players an experience that they’ll remember for quite some time. Minecraft adventure maps have always had a history of being quite immersive as they usually come with some absolutely exceptional settings, top-notch stories, and, of course, engaging gameplay. Against Iskerside 1, as it turns out, carries the same trend but its plot is definitely among the best that we’ve seen from these maps and this plot alone is enough to warrant giving this map a shot as it’s extremely well thought out, and can have anyone hooked from the moment they start playing.
The story of Against Iskerside 1 is based around a long-standing rift between sorcerers and scientists. Both groups have hated each other for many years and one sorcerer named Iskerside was expelled from the lands because the scientists disagreed with his views and didn’t want him to gain any more influence. Ever since he was expelled, Iskerside has been plotting to get revenge on the scientist, and, one day, he finally decides to go on the offensive. You, playing as a scientist, must now figure out what this plan is so that you can stop Iskerside before it’s too late and he’s able to carry out whatever plans he has in store.
The core gameplay of Against Iskerside 1 isn’t all that complex and this is great as it makes the map easily accessible to all players, even those who don’t have a lot of experience playing maps of this sort. One thing worth mentioning, though, is that the map does have its fair share of puzzles so, at the very least, you’ll need a somewhat decent understanding of Minecraft’s fundamentals in order to ensure that you don’t struggle while playing the map. Overall, though, Against Iskerside 1 is one of the most engrossing adventure maps we’ve played in quite some time and this is why it comes highly recommended from us.
